    The Emergency Management Division of the Fire and Emergency Services Department is responsible for the planning, coordination of response, recovery, and mitigation activities related to county-wide emergencies and disasters; serving as the primary coordination point for emergency management's communication flow between the Federal, State, and local levels; developing emergency operation plans for the county, cities, and districts; conducting training and educational outreach programs related to emergency preparedness; and sponsoring emergency management training.
    Emergency Management Division is a part of Fire and Emergency Services.

    Fire Operations and Training Division provides training, personal protective equipment, and support to over 200 first responder volunteers. In addition, over 75 volunteers serve as Board Members and support staff. These dedicated individuals serve the community where they live to provide public safety services to residents and visitors every day.

    Fire Prevention Division, is primarily responsible for programs, procedures, and projects for preventing the outbreak of fires within the unincorporated areas of the county and for minimizing the danger to persons and damage to property caused by fires that do occur. In addition to code enforcement, the Fire Prevention Division staff is responsible for hazardous materials incident response, fire investigations and emergency scene management support at emergencies.
    Fire Prevention is a part of Fire and Emergency Services.

    The Administration Division provides the support services that enable all operations of the Department to run smoothly, such as supporting the other divisions and managing the financial, personnel and administrative duties.
