Seeking Input for Sonoma County Broadband Strategic Plan

Published:  August 22, 2017 at 8:00 AM

Access Sonoma Broadband is developing the Sonoma County Broadband Strategic Plan. High speed, affordable, and accessible broadband infrastructure is a critical component to equip our communities for the digital economy, especially for communities outside major metropolitan areas. The strategic plan will begin to develop the framework for policies and programs to bridge the digital divide, support job growth, tax base growth, and quality of life for our residents.

 Seeking Community Input

We are seeking your assistance on the plan’s development. Our project consultant, Magellan Advisors, will be hosting a broadband educational workshop and focus groups to broaden our stakeholder engagement and gather input from across the county. The workshop and focus group meetings are anticipated to be about 90 minutes in duration and will be facilitated by our project consultant, Courtney Violette of Magellan Advisors. A schedule for the upcoming focus groups is posted below.
