Proposal: Design Review for a project that proposes to construct 6 self-storage warehouse buildings in two phases on a 6.18 acre site at the northeast corner of Eighth Street East and Napa Road. The project will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 will construct 3 buildings with a total area of 68,458 square feet: Building A (43,386 square feet), Building B (12,072 square feet), and 13,000 (Building C) square feet, with a 52-space RV storage yard within a courtyard created by Building A and B. Phase 2 will replace the RV storage yard with an additional 30,160 square feet of self-storage warehouse space in 3 buildings. Phase 2 buildings are single story and will be completely screened from public view by Buildings A and B. The project perimeter will be landscaped and no structures are proposed within 200 feet of the centerline of Napa Road. Site access is from 8th Street East.

If you wish to speak on an item under discussion by the Design Review Committee which appears on this Agenda, you may do so upon receiving recognition from the Chair. Please step up to the rostrum located in the center of the room. State your name and address for the record before making your presentation. All hearings are recorded. Time limitations on public testimony may be imposed at the discretion of the Design Review Committee.

Applicants/Developers: When the Chair announces your item please come forward and be seated at the conference table and sign the attendance sheet. The Chair will first request a staff report. Next the Chair will ask you to make a brief presentation. Speak into the microphone, as all meetings are recorded.

Other Interested Persons: For projects which require public hearings pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act, the Chair will announce the opening of the public hearing. Upon recognition by the Chair, step forward to the podium, state your name, sign the attendance sheet and speak into the microphone as all meetings are recorded.

Committee Actions: At the conclusion of the developer’s presentation or applicable public hearing, the Committee will discuss the matter and the Chair will announce the Committee’s action.
