Santa Rosa, CA – May 12, 2016 – District
Attorney Jill Ravitch has announced that earlier today defendant Dominick Lee
Hanson, 37-years-old of Windsor, was sentenced by the Honorable Jamie
Thistlethwaite after having previously pleaded no contest to one felony count
of possessing child pornography. The court imposed an extended probation
period of four years, three months county jail, and required Hansen to register
as a sex offender for life.
At the time of
his arrest Hansen was employed as a janitor with the City of Santa Rosa
Schools. He was terminated as a result of his arrest and conviction.
Attorney Ravitch stated, “Young people’s lives are destroyed by the production
and dissemination of this material.”
