At this meeting the public will be invited to attend a presentation on the upcoming launch of the 2019 Countywide Assessment of Fair Housing and participate in a discussion around Fair Housing issues and 2019 policy priorities.

Light refreshments will be provided.

  2. Public Comments for Items Not on the Agenda

  3. Swearing in the Interim District 2 Committee Representative

    Interim Executive Director Geoffrey Ross will swear in the temporary District 2 representative to serve on the Committee until a permanent District 2 candidate is chosen.

  4. Approval of Minutes from May 22, 2019 and July 17, 2019 Meetings

    The Committee will discuss and may take action to approve the minutes from May 22, 2019 and July 17, 2019 or may recommend changes to these minutes.

  5. Equity in Housing Project

    CDC Staff will introduce the Assessment of Fair Housing Project and invite participants to comment on their experiences with barriers to housing, discrimination and accessibility in the Lower Russian River. Comments will be captured and incorporated into the Assessment of Fair Housing report.

  6. Discussion on Policies for FY 19-20 CDBG and HOME Funding for Capital Projects and Fair Housing

  7. Update from Interim Executive Director

  8. Adjournment

When called by the Chair, please walk to the Public Comments table, state your name, and make your comments. Please be brief and limit your comments to the subject matter under discussion. Virtual attendees may raise their hand using Zoom, or dial *9 to raise their hand by telephone and will be directed to speak by the Chair. Each person is granted 3 minutes to speak; time limitations are at the discretion of the Chair.
