Attention Sonoma County Women: Speak Up, So CSW Can Speak Out on Your Behalf!

Published: February 25, 2019

All local women are encouraged to participate in the Voices of Sonoma County Women project, sponsored by the Sonoma County Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

As the dedicated women’s advocate in local government, CSW wishes to gain a comprehensive understanding of issues impacting women and girls in our county. Results from the year-long Voices project will be presented to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, providing data to help make positive changes in public policy.

All local women are asked to take this confidential survey in English or Spanish and are invited to attend free “listening sessions” being scheduled throughout the county. (Hard copies of the survey are available upon request.)

For questions about the Voices project, and about upcoming listening sessions, contact Commissioner Jan Blalock at jblalock@sbcglobal.net.

CSW is dedicated to promoting equal rights and opportunities that enhance quality of life for all women and girls, addressing issues of discrimination and prejudice that negatively affect Sonoma County women. The 15 Commissioners on this public advisory body are appointed by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and represent all districts. Learn more about CSW here.
