In partnership with you — the women of Sonoma County — we represent your needs, issues, and concerns to our local government officials to ensure that women's issues are in the forefront when considering policy and actions that will affect women on local, state, and national levels.

Application Process

  • We recommend that you start out by attending one of our Commission's monthly meetings.
  • Commissioners are appointed by their respective Supervisors and serve for a 2-year term.
  • Commissioners are expected to attend monthly meetings and work on at least one Commission ad hoc committee or project.
