  1. CALL TO ORDER – INTRODUCTIONS – MISSION STATEMENT

    Due to the requirements of the Brown Act, only changing the order of, or deletion of items may be allowed. New items may not be added.

    Commissioners to provide any Commission-related announcements, report on communications with supervisors and also announce any tabling opportunities.

    1. Report on Administrative Responsibilities – Almond, Barrera, Quinn
      Officers will go over various administrative items.
    2. Black History Month & Blacks’ Right to Vote – Almond
      Discussion and possible action on providing sponsorship of Black History Exhibit & Program focused on the Black’s struggle for the right to vote and obstacles that still exist. Hosted and organized by Petaluma Blacks for Community Development.
    3. One Billion Rising/The Vagina Monologues Fiscal Support – Almond
      Discussion and possible action on approving a fiscal sponsorship for Petaluma’s One Billion Rising/The Vagina Monologues event being held on February 14, 2020.
    4. By-Law Revisions – Almond, Brown, Barrera, Diaz De Leon, and MacDonald
      Approval of the draft revised by-laws for the Commission. (This is a two-part process. The by-law revisions were introduced at the November 14, 2019 meeting.)
  10. AD HOC COMMITTEE AND PROJECT COMMITTEE UPDATES
    Commissioners to provide reports and/or updates from the work being done by their ad hoc committee(s) and/or project committee(s).

In order that all interested parties have an opportunity to speak, please be brief and limit your comments to the subject under discussion. Each person is usually granted 3 minutes to speak; time limitations are at the discretion of the Chair. While members of the public are welcome to address the Commission, under the Brown Act, Commission members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda, and generally may only listen.
