2016 Property Values

Current Assessed Value and Change Notices Right at Your Fingertips…

The 2016 assessed values and change notices are available on the Sonoma County Assessor’s web site.

In order to find your property value, all you need is your assessor’s parcel number, or the property address.

By law, only properties that have an increase in value from the prior tax year must be noticed either by mail or website posting.

Pursuant to legislation effective January 1, 2011, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on April 5, 2011 approved the assessor’s request to provide assessed value notices to owners of real and personal property via the county website instead of mailing printed notices.

Note: If your property value is under Proposition 13 valuation (including the annual inflation factor) then your value is posted on the “Search the Assessment Roll” page on the website.

Property owners without access to the county website may obtain their assessed values using one of these options:

  • Call (707) 565-3010 available 24 hours a day, for an Interactive Voice Response system, which includes a fax-back printout.
