Roseland Village Neighborhood Center Community Engagement Workshops

Published:  August 25, 2016

MidPen Housing Corporation invites the community to engage in a series of workshops that will help to define the public aspects of the Roseland Village plan, in particular those connected to the physical and programmatic features of the Plaza, Joe Rodota trail enhancements, and the Roseland Village street, sidewalk, and path network. Our goal is to create a durable and functional public realm that responds to community priority and honors Roseland’s unique attributes and culture.

We will have two community workshops to help guide the Roseland Village planning application, which is scheduled to be submitted to the County of Sonoma prior to the end of the year. The workshops and community input will unfold through small group exercises and dialogue, in both English and Spanish, facilitated by members of the MidPen design and development team.

The workshops will be held at the Roseland Village Neighborhood Center, located at 665 Sebastopol Road, Santa Rosa. The first workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The second workshop will be held 2-3 weeks thereafter, on a yet-to-be-determined date.

Please come ready to engage in a fun and creative process, where your participation and ideas will help inform the design of a critical community asset.
