From January to March, participants from the Sonoma County Housing Summit
convened in groups ranging from eight to 30 attendees to learn about current
housing and homeless policies and discuss action items that ought to be
prioritized in order to increase affordable housing for all income levels and
ease access to services for the most vulnerable members of the community. Multiple stakeholder groups were represented including nonprofits,
developers, healthcare providers, City and County staff, small business owners,
homeless individuals, retired residents, and more. Below are notes from each of
these meetings as well as a summary of action items created by one of the
community member participants.
