Draft Substantial Amendment to the FY19-20 Action Plan Available for Public Comment

A draft Substantial Amendment to the Sonoma County Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 has been prepared and is available for review and public comment at the following link:

The FY 2019-2020 Action Plan pertains to the 2015 - 2019 Consolidated Plan for funds originating from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD).

The proposed actions are related to use of reprogrammed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and CDBG program income. A public hearing of the Community Development Committee and the Cities and Towns Advisory Committee is scheduled for October 16, 2019 at 10:00am to take oral public comment on the recommendation for amended use of these funds. Detailed information regarding the proposed Amendment can be obtained by contacting the Commission staff identified below. The Substantial Amendment is available for review beginning September 20, 2019 at the following locations:

  2. Sonoma County Public Library – Main Branch, E Street between 3rd and 4th Streets, Santa Rosa, CA
  3. Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, 575 Administration Drive, Santa Rosa, CA

Comments may be submitted in writing to the Sonoma County Community Development Commission, 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, or electronically to felicity.gasser@sonoma-county.org until 5:00 pm on October 21, 2019.

Adoption of the Substantial Amendment is scheduled to be heard by the Board of Supervisors at 8:30 am on October 22, 2019. Written and oral comments will be forwarded to HUD with the Substantial Amendment.
