Published:  June 13, 2018

A draft of the Sonoma County Consolidated Plan 2018-2019 One Year Action Plan has been prepared and is available for review and comment. All of the projects included in the FY 2018-2019 One-Year Action Plan for federal CDBG, HOME and ESG funding address one or more of the specific objectives outlined in the 2015 Consolidated Plan and are activities that will benefit predominantly low- and moderate-income persons, or assist in the elimination of slums and blight.

The Community Development Commission (CDC) expects to receive CDBG, HOME and ESG funding administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the following amounts:

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program        $1,859,218
HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program                $887,581
Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program                       $152,599

HUD allows 20% of CDBG funding, 10% of HOME funding and 7.5% of ESG funding to be used to partially defray expenses incurred by the CDC for administrative costs.

Specific agencies utilizing these funds are listed in the draft Action Plan.
