On Monday, August 1, 2016, General Services Director Caroline Judy received a letter from the National Procurement Institute notifying her that our Sonoma County General Services Purchasing Division has earned the prestigious twenty-first (21) annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) award for 2016. The AEP is awarded annually to recognize Innovation, Professionalism, E-Procurement, Productivity, and Leadership. The continuously evolving AEP Criteria are designed to measure state of the art in best procurement practices. The AEP program encourages the development of excellence as well as continued organizational improvement.
The County of Sonoma General Services Purchasing Division is one of only forty-five (45) agencies in the State of California and one of only forty-eight (48) Counties in the United States and Canada to receive this prestigious award. Sonoma County General Services Purchasing Division has earned this award for five (5) consecutive years.
