Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Urges Careful Review of Sample Ballots
Santa Rosa, CA – May 9, 2016 – The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters is asking all voters to pay special attention to their Sample Ballot pamphlet and ballot card instructions for the June 7, 2016, Presidential Primary election.
“Due to the large number of candidates on the ballot for the US Senate race (34 candidates and one write-in space), it is essential that voters thoroughly go over their sample ballots and the provided instructions,” commented County Clerk-Registrar of Voters William F. Rousseau.
The US Senate race will have candidates on both sides of the ballot card. Voters may cast only one vote for the entire contest. Voter instructions and general reminders are in the Sample Ballot pamphlets that voters received or have access to online. Specific instructions are also on the ballot cards. Questions can be directed to the Registrar of Voters at (707) 565-6800 or through their website: http://vote.sonoma-county.org/.
