Paperwork
- Obtain EGVM and LBAM Compliance agreements:
- LBAM compliance agreement.
- LBAM compliance agreement not needed if grapes are staying within the LBAM contiguous quarantine area.
- EGVM compliance agreement

- Ensure the grower and winery receiving grapes has EGVM and/or LBAM Compliance Agreement by checking the links below:

- Grower’s LBAM federal shield to accompany each load if grapes are leaving the quarantine area.
Tarping Loads
EGVM
Shipments of grapes do not need to be tarped unless:
- The grapes are harvested from a vineyard within 200 meters of a 2014 EGVM find site, and mating disruption was not used in the vineyard in 2014, and the vineyard was NOT treated for EGVM in the current year according to prescribed treatment protocols. or
- The grapes are harvested from a vineyard within 500 meters of a 2014 EGVM find site, and where mating disruption was used in the vineyard in 2014, and the vineyard was NOT treated for EGVM in the current year according to prescribed treatment protocols.
If shipping untarped, the following protocols must be followed:
- hand harvested: grapes may be filled to no less than 4 inches below the rim of the container
- mechanically harvested: grapes may be filled to no less than 12 inches below the rim of the container
LBAM
Tarping is not required unless the load is from a vineyard with an LBAM find.
Sanitation
Exterior of all vehicles, conveyances and equipment (bins, barrels, machinery, gondolas, etc.) must be free of debris prior to leaving vineyard and winery
