Paperwork

  • Obtain EGVM and LBAM Compliance agreements:
    • LBAM compliance agreement.
      • LBAM compliance agreement not needed if grapes are staying within the LBAM contiguous quarantine area.
         
  • Ensure the hauler and winery receiving grapes has EGVM and/or LBAM Compliance Agreement by checking the links below:
    • EGVM - Regulated Establishments (Listed by county. To search for a specific business, use the "Control" and "F" keys to open a "Find" box.)
  • Grower’s LBAM federal shield to accompany each load if grapes are leaving the quarantine area.

Sanitation

All equipment used in maintenance/harvest of the vineyard must be free of debris prior to leaving the vineyard.

Notification

  • Notify the Sonoma County Ag. Comm.'s Office 6 to 8 weeks before harvest to ship to a county out of the LBAM &/or EGVM quarantine area(s), or to another state or country. (*When shipping out of state, all of Sonoma County is considered under LBAM quarantine.) Shipment of Winegrapes Out of Sonoma County.
  • Notify receiving California county agricultural commissioners outside of EGVM quarantine area of EGVM shipments to their counties 24 hours in advance. (Counties with EGVM quarantine areas currently include Napa and Sonoma.)
  • Notify the Sonoma County Ag. Comm.’s Office of EGVM shipments to non-quarantined areas of Sonoma County 24 hours in advance.
